Northern Idaho is a unique region with many features and attractions of cultural and historical significance. The Panhandle Loop Mini Golf Course was built to educate players about features within an approximate 275 mile loop tour of the region and has many representative buildings and interesting golf holes such as Silver Mountain with white grass to signify the snow on the mountain and ski runs down to the green grass below. Interpretive signs will be displayed at each of the holes depicting each of the regions’ history and a professional map was commissioned so one could experience The Panhandle Loop Tour by car. Each golf hole signifies a stop on the loop as follows; Blanchard, Oldtown, Newport, Priest River, Sandpoint, Hope, Clark Fork, Thompson Falls Bridge/Pass, Kalispel Tribe, Murray, Coeur d’Alene Mining District/Wallace, Kellogg/ Silver Mountain, Interstate 90/ Hiawatha Trail, CDA/ Tubbs Hill, Post Falls, Rathdrum Prairie/Aquifer, Bayview/ Farragut, Spirit Lake, Stoneridge Resort/StoneRidge Golf Course |
